Start the next part of the year less stressed, which means less side effects from stress, like trouble sleeping, irritability, low immune system, forgetfulness and trouble focusing etc. I have just finished another course focusing on the mind and straight away saw how important this is and what a big effect it has straight away!

The courses I run work a little differently to my other weekly classes. You will sign up for the whole course which will have a theme. The class for the courses will be held weekly on Wednesdays and each class in the course will build on the previous one.

During the weeks of the course all participants are welcome to come to any of my other classes in Wivelsfield Church hall at no extra cost. Payment occurs at time of booking and is binding.

This course will suit anyone who has never done yoga to more experienced yogis. Focus will lie on using all the secret ingredients in yoga to help recognize what makes us stressed, ruins our sleep and makes us lose focus. For 6 weeks, we will slow down, both physically and mentally. Restorative yoga is a very gentle style of yoga where the goal is to be as comfortable as possible. This also makes it very suitable for anyone battling injuries, or unhappy bodies or minds!
By joining this 6 week course you will give yourself the time and the tools to learn how to control and respond to your mind and the crazy runs it takes you on!

The goal of this course is not to be able to meditate quietly with no thoughts for hours, but rather to learn how to spend energy and attention on what we think is important and helpful rather than on things that are not.

It is very easy to be busy today, with all the should’s of family, work, fitness, social life etc. We take so much pride in doing more, we are taught from a very young age that the more you do the better you are. But for some reason we are never taught how to relax. This leaves us feeling inadequate and in a constant search for the next thing, meaning we are constantly in a fight/flight mode where we want to give everything we have.

Restorative Yoga is scientifically proven to ease stress on all levels in your body, in your hormones, in your nervous system, in the way your brainwaves work, in your digestion, down to all the cells in your body.

Being mindful and learning how to deal with a busy mind is also proven to

Ease aches and pains
Enhance our sex life
Make us smarter and improves decision-making
Improve moods
Increase our ability to feel empathy and benevolence for others
Boost attention span and focus
Increase resilience and equanimity
Slow down neurodegenerative diseases
Enhance creativity
Reduce feeling of loneliness
The price is £60 for the 6 weeks and as mentioned above this gives you free entry to any of my other weekly classes during the course. Payment occurs at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Book your spot below or send me a message for more info!

I remember the first time I stepped in to a yoga studio, I was everything but relaxed and comfortable. And even though I enjoyed it, it still took two more months of doing yoga at home on an uncomfortable carpet before I was brave enough to have another go in a class.

So the point of this course is to make you feel more comfortable, knowing that everyone is at the same level. This way we can also practice safely, focusing on whats important in alignment and breath without complicating everything.

Because it is not just a weekly running class but a whole course you sign up to, we will progress every week focusing on different aspects of yoga. This means that after the course has finished you will not just have a better posture, calmer mind and more body awareness, you will also understand what yoga does and how and when to use it.

The course will among other things include

Introduction to various different yoga poses and the meaning for doing them (physically and mentally)
Increase flexibility and core-strength
Improve body awareness
Learning about what causes back pain and what to do about it
Simple, personalized cues for alignment where the goal is to feel good in a pose and avoid injuries
How the breath affects the way we feel, emotionally and physically
The goal of the course is to find out what yoga is for you and how you can practice in a way that suits you and your body and goals.

The price is £60 for the 6 weeks and as mentioned above this gives you free entry to any of my other weekly classes during the course. Payment occurs at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Book your spot below or send me a message for more info!

A vinyasa based class, which means that we focus on our breathing, not pushing too hard so that our breathing gets short or compromised. That also allows us to move more fluidly and helps us avoid injuries. We will flow from pose to pose, with a few balancing postures as well as a bit of core work included. The only thing that matters is how it feels for you, not what it looks like or what anyone else is doing.

Suitable for: all levels - including beginners, increasing strength & flexibility,

At the end of the week we will meet for an 1 ½ hour of restorative bliss. Let go of your stress and worries from the week and be able to fully enjoy your weekend afterwards!
restorative
Join me for a blissful restorative yoga class, followed by a guided meditation created to allow you to fully let go and relax. This month the focus will lie on calming and grounding, to help us become more resilience to stress as we are entering(/already in) one of the most stressful periods of the year, with Christmas coming, shorter days etc. The benefits of restorative yoga and meditation are scientifically proven, and include:
Benefits from full and deep stretches
Enhanced flexibility
Learning to let go of your stress
Trim fat and lose weight
Boosting your immune system
Balancing your nervous system
Quieting your mind
Recovering from illness
Healing emotional pain
Introduction to a meditation practice
Restorative yoga is a slow practice where the “goal” is to be as comfortable as possible. We will use props, like blankets, bolsters and blocks to allow our bodies to fully relax and let go of tension. The poses are generally held for 5-10 minutes and are very non-invasive. The whole experience will leave you calm, collected, relaxed and energized.
And what better time to feel like that than just before the weekend?

Give yourself a chance to fully enjoy your weekends without the residue stress from the week!

If you have any questions, send me a message or if you want to book your spot you can do that here! Payment occurs at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
