Before beginning to practice we relax and observe the natural breath, we connect to her. We feel how and where we are breathing before we intervene. When we work to control the rhythm of breathing, we have to do less than we can so as not to create tension or pressure.
Tension opposes the spirit of Yogic breathing and can be harmful.
We have to avoid forcing. Pranayama and forcing are not a match.
In the classical texts on Pranayama, it is written that one has to breathe gently, smoothly and continuously, without interruption with the same intensity of airflow moving in or out. Almost not heard or felt.
Let's practice together being more aware of our breath.💖
