Ever hear of yin style yoga? Vinyasa style of yoga is considered “yang”. With very yang, there must be a yin. Yin style of yoga is slow paced and targets your deep connective tissue (fascia, ligaments, joints, bones). In yin, you hold these poses for longer lengths of time which help stretch and lengthen these parts of our bodies we don’t typically use - let alone stretch or lengthen! You’ll also work on gaining control over your breath, which is a skill that we call can practice! This a deep tissue practice that is SOOOOO healing for your body and mind! No experience is needed for this class. We have the props and equipment needed (like mats, bolsters, blankets, and blocks) for your practice.
