DESCRIPTION: While the osteopathic-based ELDOA poses look innocent and unassuming, once holding one of them (and there&#039;s a pose for every joint of the spine and more), you quickly realize how much work they are.  The good kind of work.  The work that only full-body tensegrity (tension) and mindful skeletal alignment brings.  The result of this mindful practice?  More space and structural support around all the joints of the body.  Releasing the tension we hold in muscles, tendons and ligaments while working towards a functional (think pain-free) alignment.
I like to think of ELDOA poses as using the arms and legs to pull taut all of the connective tissues, skull to sacrum, fingers to toes - like the fabric of an opened umbrella.
