Anya Bloom was introduced to TRE® in 2011 by Dr. Melanie Salmon from South Africa and was immediately captivated by the method. She recognized its huge potential to benefit the large number of people in our society who have to deal with anxiety, stress and trauma on an ongoing basis and so, soon after, began her training and became a TRE® Certified Provider (2013) and a TRE® Global Certification Trainer (2015).
Anya has taught TRE® to hundreds of Individuals and Groups and as a Trainer has worked with and trained and supervised Trainees in Israel, South Africa, England & Nepal. Presently Anya teaches and trains TRE® Providers from all over the world online with Su Thomas, a South African TRE® Global Certification Trainer.
Anya recognises the relevancy of TRE® to the the treatment of the continuum of stress and trauma from previous exposure to the methods that recognise “tremor or shaking” as a often missing link in the completion of the instinctive Fight and Flight cycle used by humans to survive stresses and trauma. She sees TRE® as being a self-help tool for individuals that when taught with proper guidance from a Certified Provider can provide emotional and physical healing of anxiety and stress related disorders. This is because TRE® works at the deepest levels of the body where stress and trauma originate.
Anya is a Licensed Physiotherapist with 30 years of experience working with adult populations in the field of rehabilitation, and over the years, has worked as a physiotherapist in Ireland, England the United States, Belgium and Israel. Prior to opening in partnership her private clinic, Mifne Physiotherapy Clinic, based in Netanya, Anya was the physiotherapist-in-charge of the Intensive Care Unit for Head Injuries in Beit Lowenstein in Ra’anana, Israel. Today, the Mifne Physiotherapy Clinic treats adults with a wide range of orthopaedic and neurological problems and is recognised by the Israel Ministry of Defence.
