Understanding Sanskrit and Chanting through the Yoga Sūtra
This is a four-week study class introducing the Yoga Sūtra through sound, structure, and shared vocabulary.
We will work with the opening section of Chapter 1 of Yoga Sutra of Patanjali (1.1–1.20), learning how to read, pronounce, and understand the text clearly.
Rather than debating interpretations, this course focuses on clarity of language and meaning — establishing a shared understanding of the terms used in the text.

We will: Learn Patanjali opening prarthana, Pūrņamadah & Continue to refine reading and pronunciation of the Sanskrit alphabet , build a clear, shared vocabulary of key terms, learn to chant Yoga Sūtra 1.1–1.20

By the end of the series, you will be able to chant the opening sūtras and understand what you are saying.
This course provides a foundation for future Yoga Sūtra study.
