Megan began her yoga journey in 2013 and immediately fell in love with how great she felt mentally and physically. A year into her practice she began a 200hr RYT program and started teaching soon after. Her body quickly craved the softer side of yoga and she pursued more training in Yin Yoga. In May of 2019 Megan finished her second training, now designating her as 200hr E-RYT 500hr RYT. She decided it was time to try to cultivate and build her own community here in Gallatin, TN. Balance & Breathe Yoga is a place where she hopes everyone will feel welcomed, loved, and calm.
Description
This is a non-heated class designed to balance your energy and still your mind. We will combine movement through poses, connecting breath to body, and yin poses, holding stretches for anywhere from 2-5 minutes. This allows these stretches to target deeper fascial layers of the body. Combining the practices of vinyasa and yin yoga helps promote better mobility and strength in your joints, ligaments, and deep connective tissues while also challenging the wandering mind to stay present.
