DESCRIPTION: Join Kat for a cooling flow practice and experience as we honor and celebrate the "longest" and sunniest day of the year. In Ayurveda the year is split into seasons according to the three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Summertime falls under Pitta dosha. If Pitta is already your dominant dosha summer might be a time where you look to cool your fire instead. Sometimes too much a good thing can be too much of a good thing. We will be balancing out the fire and heat the sun generates by practicing a more grounded and cooling practice through breath techniques, physical movements, and meditation. Class will end with a cold washcloth infused with eucalyptus oil. Registration required. Reserve your spot today!
