DESCRIPTION: This practice is dedicated to a discussion and exploration of the breath - one of the most important pieces of the yoga practice. We will talk about how to breathe effectively in practice, and why we want to breathe in specific ways depending on what asanas we are practicing and what outcome we are trying to receive.

We start with a short discussion about breath, breath counting, the BRAHMANA/LANGHANA model, and the nervous system. Then we move into an exploration of the theory through practice.
