Pran Vayu

A more dynamic sun practice exploring Pran (or Prana) Vayu. Pran vayu moves inward and upward and primarily lives in the lungs, heart and head. The pathway for prana vayu is opened with back bends, lateral postures, and longer inhalations. Pran vayu should always be explored slowly and with care. Too much too soon can overstimulate the mind senses, because of its relationship with the heart space. Pran vayu governs our ability to receive - to be open to life and love and positive forms of nourishment. If this pathway is depleted or blocked, we may have a hard time taking in information, receiving compliments or even allowing ourselves to be loved.
