DESCRIPTION: We playfully explore the dynamic between effort & no-effort and how this applies to our lives on and off the mat.

First we explore through a special guided ashtanga practice (open to all levels), cultivating inner & outer space & peace by focusing on certain inner principles. Second, we relate effort & non-effort to yoga philosophy and what
we can take from it on & off the mat.

All Levels Welcome!.

In our yoga philosophy sessions we will draw mainly from the Yoga Sutras written by Patanjali. The Yoga Sutras is a fundamental text for Yoga comprised of 196 aphorisms on how to live a more meaningful and thoughtful life. The Yoga Sutras are divided into four chapters, each chapter comes with it's own purpose, and the text is something you can sink into and deeply contemplate, learn from and apply in your life. Study of the yoga sutras helps to discover the deeper aspects of your yoga practice. The simple yet powerful aphorisms constitute a solid groundwork for the progression of your yoga practice. and definitely worthwhile to study at least for one lifetime, at least!! :))
