Description
Let's face it, life can be very stressful! Between work, family and social engagements, we are often left with very little time for ourselves to relax and settle down. But we can only give so much before our tank is empty, so taking time to nurture ourselves is absolutely essential.

The practices of yoga nourish us in so many ways. They are incredible tools which help us to connect with our own bodies and beings, soothe our nervous systems and find peace and clarity within our minds. So let's get together, and take some time to explore the magic of these practices!

*******
Elise Greenspoon is an authorized level 2 ashtanga teacher and is passionate about sharing the practice in a light-hearted way. She first came across ashtanga yoga in 2005, and in 2009 made her first of many trips to Mysore where she explored the practice in depth, as well as other techniques such as meditation, ayurveda and body work. After experiencing many injuries along the way, Elise saw that the same poses that caused pain could also heal her body when done with patience, humility and awareness. Since then, she has developed a much softer approach to the practice and is inspired to share her experience with other practitioners, from all around the world. Born in Canada and currently living in Groningen, Elise teaches regular workshops and retreats and offers online classes.
