DESCRIPTION: Resistance training is intended to increase muscular strength and endurance. It involves exercising muscles using some form of resistance. This resistance could be weights, bands, or even your own bodyweight (as in yoga) working against gravity.  Adding just small weights to your yoga practice will give you the opportunity to help build muscle mass and give you a challenge to your own practice. In our yoga class we practice through our own individual needs, and weights DO NOT  have to be used in every pose.
