A safe yet challenging class that that accommodates a wide range of experience levels, working on stability, strength and flexibility. Relaxation is incorporated at the end of every class to leave you feeling recharged and connected.

Resistance training is intended to increase muscular strength and endurance. It involves exercising muscles using some form of resistance. This resistance could be weights, bands, or your own bodyweight (as in yoga) working against gravity. One of the ways to combat physical age-related concerns and maintain range of motion, strength, and balance is to incorporate consistent strength training into your routine. In our yoga class we practice through our own individual needs. A great opportunity to improve your sense of well-being.

Each student is given personal attention with adaptations and adjustments according to individual needs for a safe practice. This class is intended is to help you feel stronger, more energetic, hopeful, and relaxed.

A quiet practice of floor poses, Yin enhances mobility, flexibility, and deeper concentration. Nurture and release the connective tissues of the body by becoming more intimate with your breath. We learn to relax around our sensations, feelings, emotions and thoughts as they arise. Stillness can be a wonderful adventure!

Take this time to actively choose to gift yourself, to this restorative practice. Put on some comfy clothes, your wool socks, a cozy blanket and a pillow or two, and join me in the warm and serene environment of the studio.

This class combines active Yang and passive Yin Yoga styles into one class.
We’ll start with 15 minutes of yin and move into a solid 30 minute gentle flow and then transition into yin again. Find your balance inside and out, leave feeling good!
