DESCRIPTION: What is a mantra and how can you apply mantras in your daily life and how can it help in meditation? We will explore this and other questions. in a bi-monthly meeting to explore and practice integrating mantra and hand mudras into your meditation practice. Meditation generates inner peace and the ability to connect with yourself at a deeper level. When in a group , it can be more powerful. We will begin with pranayama, (breath control/techniques) to settle the mind and body, then move onto chanting mantra together as we sit in meditation. There will be the opportunity to stay afterwards for a chai or cup of herbal tea to chat - if you wish to.
