DESCRIPTION: When you’re new to yoga, it can be hard to know where to start! Foundations of Yoga is just for you! With the focus on the basic poses, alignment principals and primary sequences, this class will teach you how to pay attention to your body in order to explore the poses safely and with maximum benefit. Using the support of props, your breath, and alignment cues, you will discover how yoga can enhance the mobility and flexibility, build your strength and increase your balance. 
This is an experiential class, questions are encouraged as they arise during our practice. This class is slow and gentle allowing a progressive building of a strong foundational practice, including fundamental breath work, and meditation.
