Kelly’s love affair with yoga began in 2003, when she took her first class without knowing the incredible support, tool, and friend it would become on her life’s journey. Yoga has been instrumental in maintaining her mobility, flexibility, and strength in managing and living with Multiple Sclerosis. She also found Restorative and Yin practices particularly beneficial for dealing with chronic adrenal fatigue, which stemmed from trauma and a stressful lifestyle. Yoga and meditation have been vital tools in her recovery during times of acute stress, fostering a profound connection to her body, breath, and the community around her.
After leaving the US in 2022 she studied Thai Yoga Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and became a certified sound healer in Nepal. Over almost two years, she traveled through Southeast Asia, teaching, exploring, and learning in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. She completed her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Hatha at an ashram outside Mysore, India, and holds a 500-hour RYT certification, specializing in Meditation, Yin, Hatha, Restorative, and Sound Healing.
Practicing the eight limbs of yoga is the foundation of Kelly’s approach to teaching. Her goal is for everyone who attends her classes to leave feeling empowered in their own emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness in their daily lives.
Description
Our weekly healing circle is a collective practice where we will engage in somatic activated healing, incorporating techniques like breathwork, affirmations, movement, and ecstatic dance. This approach is designed to release stagnant energies and facilitate emotional release.
