We are very proud to introduce grand master Robert Boustany in our studio.
During our life many emotions manifest due to situations we are put in like accidents, illnesses, relationships, losses ... or just things that happen on a daily basis.
These emotions have an impact on how we grow further. Our body, mind and soul are a reflexction of what is going on in our life. Dealing with harsh emotions can cause us to closing ourselves off. In order to avoid vulnerability we close our hearts, but this actually has the opposite effect. Because it limits our breathing capacity, it blocks the flow of life energy in our body and it disables us to connect with other beings on a deeper level.
Yoga helps us to open up again.
Breathing is beginning of life. Control of the breath - called pranayama - helps to heal the body and mind by releasing emotional tension and create more space for life energy to enter the body. The heart is the main organ for oxygen supply throughout the body. In the same way it supplies the body with life energy.
Improving the condition of the heart and breathe has major positive effects on our physical and emotional state.
In this 3 hour workshop Robert will teach us how to keep our hearts open when life challenges us and how to use the breath to free ourselves from tension. About Robert Boustany
Robert Boustany is an internationally renowned yoga master and has instructed yoga classes,
seminars, teacher trainings and retreats for almost 50 years. He is a trained physicist and is known
for his analytical understanding of the anatomy and physics of yoga poses and offers energetic and
anatomical reasons for postural alignments.
Robert has extensively studied many esoteric forms of yoga, tai chi, qigong and a variety of self-care
courses, which lead to his extensive understanding of self-care and yoga therapy for today’s lifestyle.
He has trained and cooperated with many prominent yogis and swamis, including BKS Iyengar, Billie
Gollnick, Ana Forrest, Vasant Lad, David Swenson, Doug Swenson, Swami Muktananda, Swami
Ranganathananda, Vethathiri Yogiraj Maharishi, and Swami Satchitananda, the compassionate path
of Buddhism. His current studies are with his holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda.
