Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on relaxing the mind and body.  Unlike other forms of yoga, ex: Vinyasa, restorative yoga involves holding various yoga poses (5-7 for this class) for an extended period using the support of props (blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, or a wall). This allows the body to release tension and stress, facilitating deep relaxation within each pose. Restorative yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level or experience.
