Yoga Alliance-certified Yoga Teacher Training. If you're interested in teaching yoga, this is the first step. This part-time self-directed schedule features 200 hours of learning and practice teaching. The program is an introduction to:
pranayama
asana
meditation
philosophy of yoga
history
seva (community service)
kirtan (chanting)
eight-limb path of yoga
teaching to special populations
introduction to chakras
and more...
After completing 200 hours of training, you'll be certified to teach yoga and you'll have insight into which aspect of yoga most interests you! There's something for everyone in this program.

Prerequisites:

One year+ of personal yoga practice
Curiosity about yoga as a lifestyle
An open mind about the many layers of yoga

Self-directed schedule!

Curriculum:
Self-practice. Two or three times each week, you will do a 90-minute Ashtanga practice.
Readings and videos: Wheel of Yoga, Eight Limbs of Yoga, Yoga Anatomy, Yoga Asana, Meditation, Teaching Methodology, Yoga Therapy, the Business of Yoga (including a brand-new section on teaching and learning yoga online).
Live meetings.
