Learn a full routine with detailed technique, styling, and transitions. Participation to this INTERMEDIATE class is subject to assessment—attend the first Salsa Groove class on April 14 to determine if you qualify to join this class at 7pm.

A four-week choreography course held every Monday, with each session focused on developing a polished routine, concluding with an optional video recording in the final class.

Start your salsa journey with our 4-week course designed for absolute beginners. During our introduction, you will learn about the rhythm of salsa and focus on the essential solo steps. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and confidence to start with salsa partnerwork or continue your solowork journey.

Entry level: Suitable for students who have completed the Introduction to Salsa course or have equivalent prior experience.

During this 8-week course, you will learn all about the essential steps of salsa partnerwork and the foundational techniques of leading and following. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to confidently dance the basic salsa steps with a partner and be ready to take your skills to the next level.

Entry level: Suitable for students who have completed the Partnerwork Beginners 2 course or have equivalent prior experience.

During this 8-week course, you will continue building your partnerwork skills by learning how to create a strong connection with your dance partner and working on your posture and frame. After completing Beginners 3, you will be ready to take your salsa skills to the next level and step confidently into the Intermediate classes.

During this 4-week course, you will continue to expand your salsa knowledge by learning more complex routines, refining your basic steps, and exploring new moves and styling variations. After completing Intermediate 1, you will be able to dance with greater fluidity, musicality, and confidence in your partnerwork.
