DESCRIPTION: Join Elise Greenspoon for a mysore style yoga practice, followed by an afternoon philosophy session.

Yoga is so much more than the postures. It is a complete system that allows us to fine tune our nervous system to keep us healthy, vital and positive through our journey as human beings. The asana practice on our mats is of tremendous value, but remains only one small part. The practices of chanting, pranayama. and meditation are also an important aspect of yoga practice and bring endless benefits.

During the workshop we will explore how singing mantras affects our mind and body; how controlling the breathing affects the nervous system and learn techniques to cultivate stillness and calmness for ourselves.
