* This is our seasonal outdoor class! As long as it's not downpouring, we will be finding our zen in nature.
This socially distanced class will adhere to all current regulations for in-person yoga classes during COVID-19. Brianna will keep all participants aware of these regulations to ensure that everyone is able to safely enjoy in-person yoga classes again. This class is designed for any student looking to practice yoga. Movement will be linked with breath (as offered by the Hatha and Kripalu traditions of yoga), as well as focus on alignment, and attention paid to honoring your own organic movement. Students can expect to practice both seated and standing poses as well as focus on balance and breath.
*Please bring your own mat and any props you would like, as sharing supplies is discouraged at this point.
Chair Yoga – Tuesdays (ongoing), 10:00-10:45am

Location: Library Arts Center Side Lawn
*This class will be meeting outdoors for the summer season.
Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga available. Students perform postures with the aid of a chair, experiencing all the benefits of yoga while alleviating the need for getting up and down from the floor. This class is appropriate for all levels of students–from beginner to advanced–looking for a slow, steady, and purposeful practice. Variations and modifications to all poses will be offered, as well as attention paid to safe body alignment and use of gear / props. Breath work, meditation, gratitude, guided rest, and mindful movement are all offered as part of this practice.
*Chairs that have been properly sanitized will be provided. Please bring any other mats or props you would like, as sharing equipment is discouraged at this point.
