A wholesome, rounded practice building gentle heat and strength, whilst also balancing out your energy with steadier, quieter, mindful postures.

The class is split into three sections. Starting with longer held asanas; focusing on breath & awareness of being on our mat giving you time to focus and observe your inner landscape. As we journey through our practice we move to a strong but slow flow with a focus on keeping our breath consistent and awareness of our body before slowing down and settling into longer held yin postures to create spaciousness, softness & ease within our bodies before closing our practice with a deeply restful Savasana. Leave feeling rested, restored, and energised.

An early morning yoga and mediation to restore and revitalise.

This sunrise session offers a space to tune in and connect with mind body and breath . Using intuitive movement, embodied philosophy and a light sense of humour to investigate beyond the physical postures of yoga and awaken your true potential.

Vajrasati Yoga is a playful exploration of modern postural yoga using 'āsana' posture, 'dhyana' -meditation, 'prānāyāma' -breath work and 'mantra' -chanting. The name Vajrasati is a combination of two ancient Indian words 'vajra' -thunderbolt and 'sati' -awareness so means unobstructed awareness and is reflection of Hatha and its meaning of sun/action and moon/reflections.

Through listening honestly to our body and responding accordingly we can move towards yoga. A restorative practice leaving you refreshed, revitalised, and ready for the day.

Yoga sessions adapted especially for 5-9 year olds! we will learn yoga poses, play yoga games and engage in mindfulness and relaxation activities. A safe, non competitive space to get kids moving and experience what it feels to be happy, healthy and balanced.

Oli is the founder of Balance Kids Yoga and teaches yoga to children aged 5-16 years old in schools, studios and 1:1s. She also works at the Brighton Montessori School and so her first hand experience of both the benefits of yoga and working with children has highlighted to her the importance of the impact that exposing young people to yoga could have.

Kundalini Yoga is a very holistic practice which includes all elements. The foundation of Kundalini Yoga is Kriya – a completed action. A Kriya can be one movement alone or generally a set of different postures flowing in a particular sequence accompanied by breath, mantra and mudra. The Kriya builds the foundation as a preparation for meditation and Kundalini Yoga is rich in its many different mediations. Each class will always include relaxation. This is a very special time which invites the body to repose, restore and become vital.
All levels. Contact us directly if pregnant.
Please note that the Kriyas can push you physically in places - do get in touch if recovering from injuries etc.
