Description
Emmbark on a transformative journey of empowerment with this new 6-week Kundalini Yoga course focused on establish and maintaining healthy boundaries that honor your well-being and relationships.
Healthy boundaries are crucial for safeguarding our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. They serve as guidelines for how we interact with others, establish expectations for behavior, and foster self-respect as well as respect for others.
Boundaries act as our firm line of communication with the world, allowing us to define our limits and protect our energy.
Despite their importance, almost everyone struggle with boundaries, often due to a lack of role models demonstrating them during childhood (we might had a mother who always says yes to every event despite exhaustion or a father who prioritizes others’ needs above his own). While society may initially reward these behaviours , in the long term can lead to resentment, strained relationships, and even health issues.
However, embracing and enforcing healthy boundaries can lead to transformative benefits such as reduced overwhelm and stress, increased confidence and self-esteem, and more meaningful relationships. While setting boundaries may initially feel daunting, it is a crucial step towards personal growth and fulfillment.
Signs Your Boundaries Need Strengthening:
1. Difficulty Saying “NO”: Feeling resistance to declining requests or situations that don’t align with your needs, often prioritizing others over yourself.
2. Over-Explaining or Apologizing: Feeling the need to justify your decisions or apologize when asserting your boundaries, even when it’s not necessary.
3. Experiencing negative emotions such as guilt, shame, or fear when prioritizing your own needs over others’. Wanting to be liked or avoiding conflict is normal, but when it comes at the expense of you own feelings, your self worth needs some development by establishing healthy boundaries :-)
4. Feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or frustrated from taking on too much and neglecting your own needs.
It’s essential to recognize the importance of setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, not only for your own sake but also for the health of their relationships and overall well-being. By prioritizing self-care and establishing boundaries that honor your needs and limitations, you can cultivate healthier, more fulfilling live.
All the live sessions are recorded so you can catch up at your convenience or practise as often you like. All recordings are available until the 29th April ( a week after the course ends)
No experience in Kundalini Yoga is necessary. Beginners and regular students are welcome.
