Our journey takes us from Pratyahara to Dharana, emphasizing concentration and focused attention. As we hold this focus, our minds become one-pointed, merging into a sense of unity where the boundaries between subject and object dissolve into Dhyana.

Whether it's the art of breathing into an Asana, meditating with unwavering focus on the breath, or simply gazing at the beauty of nature, we discover the profound practice of merging with the object, or perhaps, letting the object merge into us, embodying the essence of Dhyana. According to the wisdom of Rama Jyoti Vernon, retaining this focused state of mind, breath, or object for as little as 12 seconds can elevate our consciousness to the first stage of Samadhi. This transcendent experience can manifest during an Asana, seated meditation, or soothing relaxation session. 😌🌻

Practice:

* Our practice commences with centering through the complete Yogic breath, heightened by the soothing cadence of Ujjayi and the mindfulness of alternate nostril breathing, gently guiding our awareness inwards.
* The journey unfolds with a nurturing facial massage that extends to the neck, shoulders, arms, chest, and a soothing foot massage.
* We gracefully transition through various Asanas, including Seated twist, pigeon, down-dog, mountain pose, moon, warrior, triangle, lateral angle, balance, shoulder-stand, fish, and knee-down-twist.
* Our practice concludes with a blissful relaxation session, followed by a brief meditation. Here, we visualize ourselves immersed in the serenity of nature, gazing at a captivating object, like a tree or a flower. In this deep meditation, we dissolve into our chosen object, setting an intention to embrace nature's tranquil sanctuary and practice Dharana and Dhyana in the coming week.
