Moku Yoga
A deliberately small yoga and movement sanctuary in Westward Ho!
Description
There is a time for moving as a collective, and there is a time for moving exactly how your own body wants to.
This 2-hour rolling window is when you can use the MOKU sanctuary entirely on your own terms. Whether you want to run through a fiery Ashtanga flow, iron out the kinks from the week with some gentle mobility, or simply lie completely still over a bolster for 45 minutes, avoiding your responsibilities, this space is yours.
How It Works
The Rolling Door: You do not need to be here for the full two hours. Use a single class credit to arrive at any point during the window, stay for as long as you need, and slip out quietly when you are done.
The Blueprint: Blank-mat syndrome is very real. If you want to move but your brain is empty, grab one of our premium Foundation sequence cards near the cubbies. It maps out a complete, balanced flow so you don't have to overthink it.
The Vibe: Low lights, ambient sound, and a completely grounded, earth-toned sanctuary.
The Golden Rules of Etiquette
Digital Detox: Phones and nervous system regulation are natural enemies. Leave your phone in the cubbies, strictly on silent (not vibrate). There is strictly no filming within the studio.
The Hard Stop: The two-hour window is a firm boundary. If the session ends at 12:00 PM, that means you are fully packed up, shoes on, and stepping out the door at 11:59 AM, not just beginning your final relaxation.
Enter like a ninja: Others may be deep in a somatic unwinding when you arrive. Take your shoes off quietly, stow your belongings, and quietly unroll your mat.
Silence is golden: This is a zero-chat zone. Treat the room like a physical library for the body.
Keep it barefoot: No outdoor shoes past the cubby area, ever.
Leave no trace: If you build yourself a highly elaborate bolster-and-blanket fort, please dismantle it neatly and stack your props exactly as you found them before heading out.
The "Space Keeper" Boundary
To protect the deeply inward, independent energy of this session, this is a strictly self-led, uninstructed practice.
A MOKU Space Keeper will be present in the room solely to manage capacity, keep the lighting perfect, and ensure nobody trips over a cork block. They will not provide verbal cues, movement instruction, or physical alignment adjustments.
Please do not ask the Space Keeper to fix your Downward Dog. They are actively holding the space so you can learn to trust your own body.
(By booking this session, you acknowledge that you are moving independently and accept full responsibility for your own physical choices, limitations, and safety on the mat.)
