An introduction to the foundational postures and practices of vinyasa yoga, to help you build your confidence on the mat, and find your flow.

In this accessible and supportive series, you will be guided through the fundamentals of a balanced yoga practice, designed at a pace suitable for complete beginners, and delivered with depth and clarity.

You will explore:

Asana and Sun Salutations - Learn about the classic postures, including alignment guidance and modifications to help you feel the postures in your unique body, and an introduction to props and their benefits to support your practice.

Pranayama - Learn about breathing techniques and the power of your breath. Guidance to help you use your breath when moving and flowing through movement, and how to harness it when finding stillness.

Dhyana - Learn about relaxation techniques and meditation and the steps towards creating focus and stillness in the mind.

Each class will explore the foundational elements, origin and traditions of Vinyasa Yoga and put into practice what you have learned by guiding you through a flow sequence, building on your knowledge each week.

This series will help you to connect with yourself and develop harmony in the body and mind, access inner stillness and awake your inner strength, with increased capacity for focus in yoga postures as well as how to implement yoga into our every day lives.⁠

After completing the course you will have a solid foundation to continue your personal practice with confidence, readying you to continue exploring all the wonderful benefits of this ancient practice.


In this small-group setting, students will receive individual attention and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and examine the many aspects of this ancient practice.

You will also receive learning resources to take away to summarise what we have covered and to reference after the course has finished.

This course is suitable for everyone, including those returning from a break or injury, or those wanting to gain deeper knowledge outside of a regular class. All are welcome and Jessica is happy to discuss your individual requirements prior to the series beginning.⁠

Please wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. You may wish to bring a bottle of water.
