As the longest day of the year approaches, we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice-

The summer solstice is a significant event in many cultures and has been celebrated and observed for centuries.  Solstice means ‘Standing point of the sun’ and they give us the opportunity to pause, reflect and honour the 6 month cycle that has just completed ad the 6 month cycle that is yet to begin.

It is an incredibly powerful time for reflection, celebration, and rituals that honor the changing of the seasons and the natural cycles of the Earth.

The evening will entail:Gentle yoga stretches, dancing, poetry, story telling, and music all play a part in this epic evening.

Thie evening is a celebration to honor the longest day of the year, a moment when nature is in full bloom and hope.
