DeAnna (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is a co-owner and instructor at One Soul who initially began her yoga training to deepen her own personal practice and soon found a love of leading others through their yoga journey. Her belief is that everyone can benefit from yoga both mentally and physically. DeAnna likes teaching a slower paced class that emphasizes mind/body awareness, breathing and deep stretching. She loves to learn and is constantly broadening her yogic knowledge to share with others. She has a special interest in the chakra system, sound healing and meditation. She holds practitioner certification in Sound Healing as well as 200-hour Kundalini, Meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga.

Join DeAnna and Rachel for this special 75-minute class featuring Candlelight Flow and Yoga Nidra. DeAnna will lead a gentle flow to help you relax and unwind in the soft glow of candlelight. Soft lighting helps engages the parasympathetic nervous system and activates the relaxation response. Candlelight Flow will guide you through a gentle sequence of breathing, stretching and asanas to help improve strength and flexibility while decreasing stress and “mind clutter". Rachel will finish up with a 30-minute guided Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a form of deep guided relaxation where the body finds a natural start of equilibrium. It helps balance quiet the mind and body and balances the unconscious and conscious parts of the brain. It offers a powerful way to help control your body’s response to relaxation giving you powerful benefits to recharge the mind, body and soul.
