Chris’s journey into yoga began almost a decade ago. Yoga found him while he was in a very dark spot in his life; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At the beginning, his practice allowed him to process difficult emotions and trauma, calm his mind and thoughts down, open his heart, and connect to an energy much bigger than himself.
Today, his practice has continued to grow, just as he does. It is ever evolving. He uses his asana practice as meditation in movement, while incorporating the other seven limbs of yoga into his life off the mat to try to cultivate peace internally wherever he may be. Yoga is more than an hour at a time in a studio to him, it is a way of living.
Part of that way of living is being of service to others, helping others grow, and guiding others to be their authentic selves. Outside of the studio, Chris is a part of SerenityStar/Comfort Cafe, a non-profit recovery center. Chris, a person in long term recovery, wishes to help other achieve recovery, just as was done for him. Yoga has helped him on that journey as well.
Chris is ready and willing to walk with you, guide you, and teach you on your journey to rediscovering who you truly are. He holds compassion, integrity, and honesty above all else. Chris is currently pursuing advanced training to acquire his 500-hour teacher certification. He can’t wait to see you in the studio!

Amanda Millette
My name is Amanda Millette. I am a woman, I am a friend, a daughter and a partner. I am a co-worker, a volunteer and lover of animals. I am a student and I am a leader. I can be bashful, I am a teacher and an explorer of deep conversations. I am from San Antonio, my heart beats in Israel, my soul loves adventure and change. I am a seeker, a mistake-maker, I am a creator and a supporter. Above all I am practicing to live as the best version I can be. Yoga is a huge part of that! My journey as a student began in 2009 and then catapulted me into the world of teaching (graduating from EVYS) in 2020. I am a yoga teacher and I have many tools to offer as I’ve learned them along the way. There are probably many more details to share with you about who I am and what I do… AND I’m excited to get the chance to know you! I am passionate about community, I am dedicated to change and I am hopeful that our practice will bring awareness into all fibers of our being. Yoga is an exploratory practice. I look forward to the opportunity to guide your practice, offer wisdom, support and learn from you!

Yoga turned from a practice on the mat to a practice he carries out in real life.
