This workshop focuses on Yin Yoga which will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. It is the perfect counter balance for our busy ‘yang’ lifestyles. Postures are held for around 5 minutes and the body is supported with props so we don’t engage our muscles and don’t over stretch - this helps us to release deeply.

The workshop will begin with pranayama (breathing practices) to start stilling the mind and settling the body. We will then come into our yin yoga practice allowing time to find the variation of each posture that works best for each of us. Towards the end of the session, we will use yoga nidra to fully absorb our yoga practice by relaxing the body and mind fully. Finally we will ground ourselves using all of our senses in preparation for going back into our everyday lives while still maintaining a feeling of calm.
