4 week immersion series commencing Tuesday 4th February through to Tuesday 25th February 7.30-9pm
$99 early bird before 20th January and $140 after that .
Kundalini yoga is a potent style of yoga that is very powerful and transformative.
It is very important to understand the basics and fundamental concepts of this practice as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In learning the basics and principles of this practice we are sinking our roots into the ground, forming a strong, steady foundation from which our ability to grow and flourish our practice deepens.
These sessions will be experntial and cover topics such as;
What kundalini energy is and how can it help us grow.
The importance and meaning of using mantras and chanting.
Learning how to direct our breath and energy through pranayama.
Learning about the bandhas (body locks) and how to use them.
Learning about the chakras and how to work with, activate and balance each chakra to release and clear.
The meaning of kriya’s.
The importance of meditation to heal and overcome mental/emotional afflictions and build mental/emotional stamina.
Please note this is a progressive and immersive programme which will build from week to week so it is important that you can commit to the 4 week container to get the maximum benefits.
After the course has finished I will be running weekly classes on Tuesday evenings 7.30-9pm so you can continue to build your practice.
