Join me for a gentle yoga class in which you do not have to get down onto the yoga mat.
We begin seated. We do some breathing exercises, then mobilise the different joints. We then stand and work on balance, strength and flexibility. When you are standing, you have the chair in front of you so that you can hold on if you need to for balance. We then finish with a ten minute relaxation seated in the chair. Bliss!

Yoga with a focus on breathing and being aware of body and mind.
We often begin with a pranayama (breathing) exercise, then warm up with some flowing movements, building towards more complex, challenging poses. We finish with a long, guided relaxation.
My classes are about developing awareness of body, mind and self, through deep listening to and respect for your body and mind. I hope we can find a sense of calm and peace in amongst the clatter and chaos of the world around us.

A gentle yoga practice.
This class consists of gentle movements and poses. The focus in this class is on relaxation, and on building flexibility, strength and balance. It's a great option for beginners, older people, and anyone who prefers a slower class.
