DESCRIPTION: The practice of Hatha yoga involves moving the spine in all the directions it can go in order to keep it healthy, flexible and strong. But if you've ever wanted to know more about how your spine works then this workshop will give you the chance to explore that in more depth.
Why is yoga so focused on the spine? What is the spine designed to do? How does it move? Which parts move in which ways? How can we move in our yoga practice to keep the spine healthy and avoid injury?
We'll explore these questions as we move through our yoga practice, which is designed to help you feel these things in your own body.
I might even manage a few images of the spine if I can figure out how to screenshare in Zoom!
