DESCRIPTION: For our final class, we'll be focusing on moving through inversions. We loosely define inversions as having the top half of the body lower than the hip - so this includes handstands/headstands/forearm stands, but also includes any four legged locomotion/movement patterns that bring the hip higher than the shoulders. This defintion, allows any body to join - whether you can kick your leg up or not. There will be variations and progressions for all - thus it's an open level class.

In this class, we'll expand our mobility and connect with all of our limbs through dynamic movement patterns/locomotion, developing acrobatic skills, and progress through drills that will teach us how to safely fall and confidently lead to more advanced coordinations like handstand walks, spins, no handed tricks, or simply being able to play like we did when we were kids! 

This will be a full body workout and you'll learn some skills with a fun group. Come join us!

What is Functional Flow?

Functional Flow is a playful cross-disciplinary movement practice to develop our mobility, sensitivity, emotional(spiritual) resilience and capacity, coordination and strength through skill development (soft-acrobatics, inversion, floor work), play fighting, contact freestyle (dance), conditioning, and movement puzzles, to remember how capable our bodies are. This practice carries us over into many applications from dance, sports, martial arts, safely falling or being able to carry luggage up the stairs. 

This class is Open Level, and every one will be able to find ways to scale the practice based on abilities and capacity for each practice. 

We train at: Købmagergade 65, 1150 København (First Floor - Room 1)
