Dale Kaufman
My name is Dale Kaufman and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and have been teaching for over 5 years. I've been practicing for over 20 years. As a retired middle school social worker, former marathon runner, and professional musician I have found the practice of yoga and meditation vital to live each day more mindfully and intentionally. I combine creative sequencing, wonderful music and a dose of inspiration to help students deepen their practice. Dale teaches Slow Flow Yoga along with Yoga Nidra Classes.
Description
This slow flow class focuses on the fundamental yoga poses that make up a well-rounded yoga practice. Emphasis is placed on safe and effective alignment during poses and during the transitions between poses. Individuals new to yoga, and those who have been practicing for years will enjoy deepening their understanding of these core poses and the effects they can have on the body, breath, emotions, thoughts, and sense of becoming more centered. Instructor will give specific cues so that those new to yoga will feel comfortable. Class will begin with meditation, breathwork and gentle warm ups. Classes will contain Sun Salutations and Standing Sequences followed by cool down and gentle stretching. Class will always end with Savasana (period of relaxation). Music will be carefully chosen to enhance the experience for participants.

There is free parking in our lot after 5pm or on Blount Street across from our building.
