Christy Killips
My name is Christy Killips and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I received my Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Boston College and Master's degrees in Nutrition from Columbia University in New York. Since completing my internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, I have devoted my career to helping patients of all ages and this has led to a passion for addressing nutrition issues across the lifespan. I also have extensive experience in pediatric nutrition support. After spending time in the home health setting, I understand that the issues that keep us from reaching nutrition goals are often more complicated than they first appear in a hospital or medical clinic setting. As such, I hope to help clients collaboratively work through barriers to achieve their goals. I value flexibility and understanding in my relationships with clients and my goal is to approach each session with an open mind. My areas of expertise include malnutrition, eating disorders, infant/pediatric feeding difficulties, failure to thrive, picky eating, irritable bowel disorder (IBD) as well as Chrohn's or UC, gastroparesis, post bypass patients, food allergies, nutrition support (tube feeds, IV nutrition), nutrition during and after cancer treatment, and transitions in care (i.e. hospital to home).
