This vinyasa class draws its inspiration from the primary series sequence of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It is structured to include the traditional sun salutations and a selection of the standing, seated and finishing sequence postures. Practicing a set sequence will allow you to become more and more familiar with each posture, which in turn will allow you to track your progress through time. Becoming familiar with the sequence, will also allow you to relax and let your body take over, transforming the practice into a moving meditation. This class is a great opportunity to build your strength and flexibility, and to start becoming acquainted with the Ashtanga yoga sequence. It is suitable for practitioners of all levels, as modifications will be provided.
