Join Emily Sustar & home birth Midwife, Crystal Komp for a special childbirth preparation course designed to empower both the birthing person and their partner. This course will cover the basics of birth; what happens in labor + delivery & postpartum, coping techniques, movement, breath, and strategies to add to your toolbox for the birth journey, in addition to mental and physical preparation for the parenthood transition.


About Crystal:

Crystal is a home birth Certified Nurse-Midwife who serves La Crosse County and surrounding areas. She has a nursing background in many specialties, to include: Cardiac-telemetry, Emergency Department, and Labor & Delivery. Crystal received her master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. She has a passion for true informed consent in care and physiological birth. Her goal is to empower women to be educated and active participants in their care. Crystal is a mama to three children who she birthed in a home setting.

About Emily:

Emily is a RYT, RPYT, (registered prenatal / postpartum yoga teacher) and the founder / teacher at The Motherhood Collective. Emily is also a Birthing From Within mentor and has training in utilizing Spinning Babies techniques through yoga practice. Emily is also currently studying for her 500 hr Functional Yoga Advanced Teacher Training. Emily’s philosophy is that every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, empowered and understood especially in birth. Emily’s goal is to provide you with information, tools and awareness of your options so that you feel empowered to make the best choices for you and your baby, however that looks in your life. Emily is a mama to three wild and wonderful kiddos.
