The focus of family yoga classes is fun, connection, breath, and mindful movement for the whole family. Classes incorporate yoga teachings, nature, and relevant theme education woven through the practice. Family yoga classes are between 30-60 minutes and are most appropriate for children ages 2-12 years old with their adults, but all ages are welcome.

Whether you had a baby 4 weeks or 4 years ago, the postpartum period is a sacred time. Postpartum Yoga honors and celebrates the differences in your body and the incredible work it has done continues to do. Postpartum Yoga classes focus on honoring the birth and pregnancy journey, in addition to healing key areas of the body that undergo a lot during pregnancy and birth (core, pelvic floor, hips, & glutes and back, neck & shoulders). These classes also focus on supporting and healing collectively from the demands of birth and parenthood.

Drop your child ages 1-6 years old at the play spot while you attend yoga classes or the Motherhood United Support Group alone or with your baby. This child watch program is on-site & facilitated by our fabulous interns, offering games, art activities, and play, while you move & breathe. This service is free for those attending yoga classes and $5 for those attending the Motherhood United Support Group. Please include your child's name and age when you register.

Motherhood United: Support Group is a safe haven to nurture new moms as they enter the magical, mysterious and often challenging time of motherhood. Together we will consciously celebrate the transitions new moms face while learning and sharing within a community. Our group is a space for parents identifying as mothers where you can share your experiences and concerns, ask questions, and form community with other moms. Prenatal/ postpartum yoga teacher Emily Sustar along with occasional guest’s, including perinatal mental health therapists, and other professionals who support parents facilitate each group focusing on the profound transition into motherhood. Sharing this space with other parents promotes your well-being and supports your relationship with your baby during this sweet and at times stressful time of bonding and development. Bring your questions, your stories, and your baby (newborns up to crawling babies).

The Play Spot on site child watch is available for older children during the support group.
