Join Emily Sustar & full spectrum doula, Megan Peterson, for a special childbirth preparation course designed to empower both the birthing person and their partner. This course will cover the basics of birth; what happens in labor + delivery & postpartum, coping techniques, movement, breath, and strategies to add to your toolbox for the birth journey, in addition to mental and physical preparation for the parenthood transition.

About Emily:
Emily is a RYT, RPYT, (registered prenatal / postpartum yoga teacher) and the founder / teacher at The Motherhood Collective. Emily is also a Birthing From Within mentor and has training in utilizing Spinning Babies techniques through yoga practice. Emily is also currently studying for her 500 hr Functional Yoga Advanced Teacher Training. Emily’s philosophy is that every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, empowered and understood especially in birth. Emily’s goal is to provide you with information, tools and awareness of your options so that you feel empowered to make the best choices for you and your baby, however that looks in your life. Emily is a mama to three wild and wonderful kiddos.

About Megan:
Megan is a 500-hour certified teacher and student of yoga and Ayurveda. She is a certified prenatal yoga instructor and a certified Thai Yoga Bodywork practitioner. Megan is also a full-spectrum doula committed to providing safe and healing spaces for people during their pregnancy and postpartum times. In addition to birth and postpartum doula care, Megan also provides education, comfort, and support to those experiencing pregnancy loss and abortion. Megan has been a doula since 2016 after a wonderful experience with the doulas who attended the birth of her daughter. She completed DONA-certified training in birth doula and lactation & feeding support in 2018. She brings her yoga and bodywork background into her doula practice to help pregnant and postpartum people feel comfortable in their bodies before and after giving birth.
