Please join this special 4 week series designed for both pregnant or postpartum folks, FREE through grant funding. We are proud to be able to offer this series for FREE thanks to grant funding from Gundersen Health through the UW School of Medicine & Public Health to help improve maternal and infant health and health equity in Wisconsin.
Join a community of other pregnant and postpartum folks to reconnect to your body + breath. This series will focus on functional breath, functional movement, and movement to strengthen + support the body and mind in both pregnancy and postpartum along with nervous system regulation. Non-mobile babies are welcome to join you on your mat.
Our hope is by removing the barrier of cost, it enables pregnant and postpartum folks of all backgrounds and abilities to focus on their physical and mental health during the perinatal transition

Prenatal Yoga is the perfect practice for mamas at every stage of pregnancy, from the first trimester to 40 weeks (and beyond!). Each class includes 50-60 minutes of prenatal yoga + discussion and information to support your pregnancy and birth journey. The practice places an emphasis on breath as a tool for pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and is both invigorating and gentle. Poses incorporated are intentionally chosen to create a strong, relaxed, and supportive body in pregnancy and to prepare the body and mind for birth.

This event meets 6-7pm at The Motherhood Collective Studio. It is free for prenatal yoga students (and their partners) and $5 for community members not attending prenatal yoga.

Baby + Me yoga classes are sessions of healing and supportive yoga aimed to provide time for bonding with baby, intentional movement and breath to heal the body postpartum, and a chance to connect with other caregivers and babies. Movements and poses in this offering are intentionally chosen to support healing and building strength for postpartum mamas in key areas that undergo a lot during pregnancy and birth (hello - deep core, pelvic floor, glutes, hips, and upper back / neck!). Baby + Me yoga celebrates the differences in your body and the incredible work it has done continues to do.
This class is most appropriate for babies who are 0- 12 months (or are not fully mobile yet).

This class includes connection, & community through sharing information and discussion + a 50-60 minute baby and me yoga class.

Drop your child ages 1-8 years old at the play spot while you attend yoga classes or the Motherhood United Support Group alone or with your baby. This child watch program is on-site & facilitated by our fabulous interns, offering games, art activities, and play, while you move & breathe. This service is free for those attending yoga classes and $10 for those attending the Motherhood United Support Group. Please include your child's name and age when you register.

The Support Group at The Motherhood Collective is a safe haven to nurture new and expectant moms as they enter the magical, mysterious and often challenging time of motherhood. Together we will consciously celebrate the transitions moms face while learning and sharing within a community. This group is a safe and welcoming space for parents identifying as mothers (we welcome all gender identities, biological, and adoptive moms) to share your experiences, concerns, ask questions, and form community with other moms. Sharing this space with other parents promotes your well-being and supports your relationship with your baby during this sweet and at times stressful time of bonding and development. Bring your questions, your stories, and your baby.

This group is facilitated by Emily Sustar, RPYT, RYT 500, Birthing from Within mentor, and founder/ owner at teacher at The Motherhood Collective and Erin Edwards, IBCLC, doula, L & D nurse and owner / founder at Little Bird Lactation along with special guest presenters at least once a month.
