Exploring yoga beyond the mat means incorporating the philosophies of yoga and understanding that yoga is far more than the postures. This class is unique because we will begin each class with card pulling, introductions and a group check-in. We will also discuss the current energies and discuss different yogic philosophies. Connection, community and being seen and heard is an important part of your journey.

Next, we will land on our mats and move through a series of seated and standing postures focusing on different areas of the body each week. We will end in our final resting posture, savasana and then we will close out our practice together. We will hold each posture for a longer period of time in this class, really focusing on building and unleashing our inner power and building a strong foundation. Bending and twisting out stuck energy so that our breath can flow freely throughout our entire body.

Each class will be unique and we will explore different topics and will target different areas of the body. We will share in conversation and have a lot of laughs. This class is great for all levels, especially beginners, because questions and conversation are encouraged during class. This class will build your knowledge of yoga, build your strength, increase your flexibility in both your body and your mind, increase your mobility, reduce your stress and support you in becoming your favourite version of yourself. You will build relationships and be part of a community here. This is a great foundational class. All levels welcome.

Join Geneve and Shalyn on your mat for this dynamic class combining the relaxation of restorative yoga with the healing energy of reiki. Tap into your parasympathetic nervous system and rest. Restorative yoga is a passive, meditative form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. Here you will hold the postures for an extended period of time, but you will be supported with a number of props. While you are holding the postures you will receive reiki.

Join Shalyn for this 75min class where we will focus on building strength using the postures of yoga. We will move through a full practice consisting of seated and standing postures. We will hold postures for an extended period of time to really hone in on strengthening our muscles. The foundation for a strong body is a strong core so we will focus on a lot of core strength building in this class. This is not a flow class and will not include any cued vinyasas. This class is a great strength building class.

Take the plunge! Take a moment for yourself and experience the benefits of a cold plunge. Book in 2 people at a time and do it with your partner or bestie. You will have the plunge room to yourself and your session will be not be guided. Shalyn will be in the studio to answer any questions or concerns. Take the plunge today! Join Shalyn for this Men’s Only Yin and Plunge class and discover the power of yoga and perhaps the missing link in your wellness practice. The practice of Yin will keep you mobile so that you can continue to do all of the things you love like lifting weights, running, hiking, etc. Yin is the companion that everyone needs.

We will begin our class by focusing on community and connection. We will talk about various subjects, perhaps pull cards and engage in meaningful discussions. Everyone will be seen and heard here. Connection off the mat is just as important as your time on your mat; therefore you will have plenty of time to connect with the other men in class through meaningful conversation after class.

After class take a cold plunge! This is optional but highly recommended as an excellent companion to your yin practice.

Yin is about digging deep and reconnecting with yourself. It is about tapping into your feminine energy and allowing yourself to slow down, let go and just be.

In this class we will be seated or laying down on our mats holding poIstures for longer periods of time. This class is a slower paced class that stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system and encourages you to slow down by bringing awareness to your breath and the connection between your mind, body and spirit. This is a great class to quiet your mind and slow down.

Don't let the slower pace of this class fool you though, this class will push you. Yin focuses on stretching the deep connective tissues like ligaments, tendons and fascia rather than the superficial muscle tissue. We will get into the good stuff here!

Join Tyler, our breath and cold expert, as he guides you through a cold plunge. This session will include breath work, a quick meditation, a cold plunge and a debrief afterwards. Tyler will guide you through the process including any trauma release that may result from the plunge. Therefore, please know that you are safe and supported here. In addition, you will have ample time to allow your body to warm up naturally after your plunge as you have the entire cold plunge room to yourself for an hour. This is a great couples or friend activity as this session will be done in groups of two.

Each week Tyler will demonstrate different breathing methods that will support your wellness, lower your stress and support you in gaining control of your anxiety. You will begin each session with a breath work exercise followed up with a meditation. Each class will be different.

This class will begin with a guided meditation followed by a symphony of sounds and frequency. We have an incredible room where you will feel the frequency of each bowl. The sound and frequency does not get lost in our space. Sound bowls in our studio is an experience you cannot get in a large room.
