Phototropism — Receive & Allow
Plants don’t grow toward light because they are certain. They grow toward light because they are responsive.
Phototropism is the quiet intelligence that helps a plant sense where nourishment lives and gradually turn itself in that direction. Not through force. Not through striving. Through receptivity.
In this practice, we’ll explore what it means to trust that same intelligence within ourselves.
Through mindful movement, breath, and reflection, we’ll investigate the subtle ways the organism of you is already orienting toward growth, healing, connection, and possibility. We’ll notice the places where effort is useful, and the places where allowing creates more space than pushing ever could.
This class is an invitation to soften into what is already unfolding. To receive rather than grasp. To listen rather than control.
Part of the What the Earth Knows series, this practice draws inspiration from the natural world to explore a simple question:
What if growth isn’t something we make happen, but something we learn to allow?
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. The light is already finding you. 🌿
