DESCRIPTION: Connect with the source of your physical power where all else can move. Although not power yoga this practice aims to help you feel empowered in your own body. Find your breath and center to support fluid movement with a focus on strengthening and connecting to your core. This class is great for individuals who want to build core strength as well as those who want a meditative practice. The flowing sequences will be followed by long pauses or posture holds. We will wind down with a couple of restorative poses, pranayama and yoga nidra. There is a strong focus on breath and mindfulness.
