DESCRIPTION: Stop "pushing" and start "floating". This workshop tackles two of the most misunderstood transistions in Yoga: the chaturanga dandasana (yoga push up) and the elusive Pincha Mayurasana forearm balance.
Many practitioners struggle with shoulder pain or a heavy feeling in this poses. We are here to fix this by focusingon the mechanical "swwet spot" where strngth meets alignment. You will learn how solid chaturanga is, the secret launchpad for a stable forearm stand.
What we will master:
The chaturanga blueprint - correctiong the dipping shoulder and how to use serratus anterior to protect joints.
Forearm foundation - building the specific shoulder mobility required to stack the hips over the elbows without back arching.
The Picha Path - moving from Dolphin pose into a controlled balance using wall drills and partner spotting.
transition Fluidity - how to jump back from crow pose to chaturanga with grace, power and zero impact on wrists.
Level - intermediate. A basic level of sun salutation is required.
Focus - Scapular stability, tricep engagement and core integration.
Goal - to move from "muscling through" to find a light, gravity defying practise.
