DESCRIPTION: Prana is a moving meditation class rooted in the ancient art and science of Qigong (&amp;#34;chee-gong&amp;#34;) mixed with yogic pranayama. Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines flowing movements, deep breathing, and meditation to boost energy, relieve stress, and balance emotions. It focuses on cultivating holistic health by addressing the mind, body, and spirit as an integrated whole.  “Qi” means life-force energy, and “Gong” means skill or cultivation—so Qigong is the practice of cultivating your vital energy. Similarly, in yoga, pranayama refers to the control (yama) of prana, the vital life force. In Prana, we weave together Qigong movements and classical yogic breathwork to move into greater clarity, vitality, and connection with your highest Self.
