DESCRIPTION: Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, movement practice where there are no steps to follow and no right or wrong way to move. Guided by music, the experience becomes a moving meditation—helping you release stress, awaken creativity, and deepen the mind-body connection, fostering a deeper connection to one's inner self. It is a safe, sacred space where participants are free to express themselves authentically without fear of being watched or judged. In this safe, sober, and non-judgmental space, you’re invited to explore authentic self-expression and connect with community through the shared joy of dance. Conversations are discouraged while dancing to maintain focus on the internal journey and the music. All are welcome; no dance experience needed.
Our Ecstatic Dance sessions will be on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00-8:30pm. This is a pay what you can class, with a suggested pay what you can of $5 or more. You will receive an email right after class where you can click the link to make a contribution or we take cash or check in-person.
