Harp Sitara
Yoga and meditation didn’t just change Harp’s posture—they transformed her life. She came to the mat in 2019 during a battle with depression following her divorce. What started as a one-month introductory yoga pass quickly turned into a lifeline. Her mat became a sacred space where anxiety softened, self-compassion grew, and healing began.
Harp has also journeyed through intensive treatment for an eating disorder and body dysmorphia. Her lived experiences—both on and off the mat—inspire her to create inclusive, empowering spaces where all bodies and all emotions are welcome.
For over 13 years, Harp has taught a variety of movement practices including pole dance, aerial silks, and group fitness. In 2025, she completed her Oxygen Yoga & Fitness 20-Hour Methodized Training, adding to her 200-Hour training with Modo Yoga International and her 90-Hour Prenatal & Postpartum certification from Embodied Woman Yoga in Singapore.
Her teaching style focuses on alignment, accessibility, and deep listening. Whether you’re craving a challenge or seeking restoration, Harp offers options to meet you where you are—inviting you to connect with your own innate wisdom and surrender fully into the most important posture of all- savasana.
Harp’s passion for prenatal and postpartum yoga is deeply personal. After giving birth at home in 2022 unmedicated, in water, and catching her baby herself—she experienced firsthand the physical, emotional, and spiritual shifts of new motherhood. She’s especially passionate about supporting birthing people through these transitions with care, compassion, and evidence-informed movement.
Before transitioning into full-time yoga teaching, Harp spent 15 years in corporate marketing, most recently as an Executive Director at a Fortune 500 company. After being laid off in 2024, she took it as a blessing—a chance to leave behind the burnout and toxic hustle, and instead, dedicate her time to her yoga offerings and her family. Her corporate background brings a high level of professionalism, organization (and yes, plenty of spreadsheets) to her work as a wellness entrepreneur.
When she’s not teaching, Harp is deepening her own yoga practice as a lifelong student, soaking in the sauna, exploring spiritual teachings, or enjoying quality time with her son, two stepkids and dog Oreo. She also loves traveling, indulging in spa days, and prioritizing self-care as a cornerstone of her well-being.
Description
